Counting Our Blessings

Arrived! After a long journey of almost six months, two large boxes packed full with shoes and some socks for the children in Mbayi have arrived. As we move from the rainy season into the coldest months of the year (June and July can be as cold as 5 degrees celsius) many young toes will be warmed thanks to the children of St. Stephen's on-the-Hill United Church Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Thanks to all of you so very much for sharing! Jesus knew that... He had come from God and was returning to God; so He... began to wash His disciples' feet (John 13:3-5). Jesus served and taught us to do likewise. I thank God for all the servant hearts that have emerged to bless us in Mbayi. Happy Easter everyone!
